I built this texture/photo storage thingy as a way of reducing the HUGE number of these items clogging up my inventory and to make searching through them a lot easier. Hope it is a useful to you as it is to me. Had a little trouble naming the product lol.... But I'm sure you get it ; ).

Playing around with the sorter and having seen what is available on the market, I will make a second edition soon.

Your Texture & Photo Storage thingy comes with 20 small preview pannels and 1 large view and give screen. There are 7 storage buttons with changable names and last but not least a full brigh on/off button so you can see how the texture will appear when applied, or if your working in a darker environment. Of course as the unit is mod, you may change it to suit your style as you please.

a). To use your Texture Sorter, drag it from your inventory and place it on the ground. Once it has rezed, to begin adding your textures, right click on the Sorter and select edit, this open's SL's editing menu. Next, tick the "Edit linked parts" box in the pop up window and then select the button on the Sorter called Set 1.

b). Now select the "Content tab" and drag all the textures or photo's you wish to store from your inventory into the content panel. Once you have added all you want, before closing the editor or moving on to the next button, select the "General" tab and change the name of the button from Set1 to what ever represents the group of textures or photo's you added. The button will update when you click on it.

c). The left and right arrow buttons allow you to scroll through your selection, click on a texture in the small preview pannel to see a larger image and click on the large image to have the texture given to you.

d). The Gold coloured button turns full bright on and off.

This product works great! It does everything I need it to do and is hugely expandable! There is another version 1.3 with even MORE room for categories and textures. Just perfect. That was great ... but then I got the most pleasant surprise which totally blue me away. ALL the scripts are fully editable so I can add my own custom code ... and there were no surprises. I checked out other Photo Viewers/Sorters which looked great on paper ... until I bought them! Then you find little things about them that are totally wrong ... like NO COPY scripts which makes them NO COPY objects. And no response from those creators. Atlantis RP got back with me immediately when I had a question. Great service! Highly recommended product and company! There are a couple of very minor cosmetic issues, which I easily fixed, but I have to admit they were only issues because of my own personal preferences. Totally thrilled with this product!

I've tried a few sorters and by far this one has worked the best. It works smoothly with no issues that I've experienced thus far and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who builds or creates. Definitely takes a load off your inventory. A must have product.

Sorters are quite important from builders, useful tooks for texture selection at a reasonable speed without having to give each one a unique name for you to remember, especially those that are free or bundles.

This sorter is well priced and does the job perfectly, I just purchased one and I have rezzed 3 of them to store my textures, Well done !!
