IMO, the single best pair of stand-alone digitigrade legs to hit the market.
Something I've always been a bit of a stickler about when it comes to canine and lupine paws is the 'are they large enough to support the avatar' question. In many cases, no. But with these legs, yes. Absolutely. The digitigrade leg market has been dominated by petite legs for small to medium build avatars for years, but these have filled a much needed - and neglected - gap. Finally, legs that look like they can plausibly support both tall and thicker frames.
A variety of other issues with most digitigrade legs legs include:
- Claws not tipping inward on the middle toes.
- Paw pads looking bubble-like and not like they're attached to the toes and paw.
- Knees looking flat or misshapen.
- Thighs not being angled correctly or thick enough.
- The lower leg beneath the hock being too short, or the calf too long.
Pretty much all of these common anatomical issues are not present with these legs. Couple these features with having individually tintable / texturable pawpads and claws, and taking alphas well (Hint: Use the 'foot' for any alphas below the hock), and I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
I've loved this store's more stylized realism style since I first spotted the Wolfdog Head, and I'm eagerly looking forward to future rigs, and future products in general. This has been a much needed breath of fresh air to my avatar woes. Thank you so much.
EDIT: Edited for typos. Spellcheck, why you turned off when I needed you most.
