BC Deluxe Riding System
*This is an addon for Breeder's Choice horse avatars! The horse is not included! Do not buy if you don't have a horse avatar!*
The deluxe riding system is a more advanced riding system for the Breeder's Choice Quarter Horse and Shire avatars. With the default riding system sold with each avatar, the horse can carry riders in the standard riding position only. The deluxe riding system adds the ability to buck with your rider, rear with your rider, fly with your rider, swim with your rider, be led by your rider, be pet by your rider, be hugged by your rider, and be laid on by your rider.
You MUST be in a version 2.1 BC horse avatar for this riding system to work! Version 2.0 quarter horses will not work.
=================================================
MOVEMENT:
This riding system contains 4 gaits, or speeds: walk, trot, canter, and gallop. To change between gaits, you can either use the buttons on your HUD or use the arrow keys on your keyboard.
To speed up: press the up arrow twice in row
To slow down: press the down arrow while holding the up arrow
To jump: press the e key or the page up key
To fly, press and hold 'e' or 'page up'.
When flying or swimming, press e or page up to move upwards, or c or page down to move downwards.
CONTROL HUD:
When you sit on the riding system, you will be offered a HUD. Click yes to allow the HUD to attach to the bottom of your screen. The HUD contains options for riding variant, speed, actions, and photo poses. These will be explained below.
If you do not get the HUD when you sit, you can receive it at any time by left clicking the riding system (horse's belly) and selecting "Wear HUD" to attach a temporary HUD to your screen or "Get HUD" to have a permanent copy of the HUD delivered to your inventory.
VARIANTS:
Ride (F2) - This is the default riding variant, wherein the rider sits on the horse's back to ride.
Lead (F3) - While leading, the rider in seat 1 will walk beside the horse's head to lead it while riders in seats 2 and 3 ride on the horse's back. Leading can only be done at a walk and trot, but the horse's trot will move faster if speed is set to canter or gallop. [This riding system does not connect a rope from the horse's head to the rider's hand. To get one, have the horse wear the halter included in the BC horse avatar's extras folder and click it to set owner to the rider. Then have the rider left click the halter to grab it.]
Buck (F4) - While bucking, the horse will buck at whichever speed the riding system is set to.
SPEEDS:
Walk
Trot
Canter
Gallop
- The riding variant chosen will automatically adjust itself to move at your chosen speed.
ACTIONS:
Rear 1
Rear 2
Rear 3
- The action animations may need time to load. If the horse and rider do not move together, wait for the animations to finish then click again for a better sync. It's recommended that you test all 3 rear animations before going into an rp scenario.
CUDDLES/PHOTO POSES:
Lock:Pet - locks the riding system in the pet pose; you cannot ride while using this pose
Lock:Hug - locks the riding system in the hug pose; you cannot ride while using this pose
Lock:Lay - locks the riding system in the lay pose; you cannot ride while using this pose
Unlock:Ride - unlocks the riding system so that you can ride
FLYING AND SWIMMING:
By default, the riding system will enter fly mode when you press and hold e or page up. The riding system will enter swim mode when you ride it into a body of SL water. When flying or swimming, press e or page up to move upwards, or c or page down to move downwards.
A solid enhancement for the Mesh Avatars.
The animations are a blast to play with.
Surprisingly, this actually works well enough with some adjusting for the WH Mesh Deer avatar.
This rider system really adds to the rp experience, crossing water becomes a safe possibility for you and your human if you happen to be wearing a meter capable of drowning!
