!!!!NEW VERSION 3.0. Updated airport list system, new design, airport wiki options and more!!!!!

Ever been flying around but then have trouble finding another airport on the map or the next closest one? I have and from there AirGPS was born.

AirGPS is a gridwide system that can easily point you in the direction of an airport, displaying the name, distance continent and more! Airports are automatically updated from an online database without you having to do anything manual to get the latest airport list.

Additional features include filtering airport by type, an option to open the current airport’s wiki page, customized look, custom airport lists, resizer and more!

Also, free updates!
==========

Features:
• Grid wide Airport GPS System.
• Name, Distance, Altitude, Continent display.
• Sort Airports by Distance or manually select.
• Quick link to the airport’s wiki page, if it has one.
• Easy-to-create notecard system to make your own lists.
• Four texture options for the panel and arrows.
• Resizeable.
• Free Updates.

==========

Instructions:
When you click the “M” for “Menu” on the HUD for the first time, you will be prompted with four options to load an airport list.
- All: All airports from the online database
- Land: Only land based airports from the online database.
- Heli: Only heliports or airports that support helicopters from the online database.
- Sea: Only seaplane supporter airports from the online database.
- Notecard: Your own custom list.

The A button on the list presents the same list.

==========

The HUD:

- Current Continent: The continent’s name you are currently on.
- Continent Status: The status of the two continents in three categories.
- Same: You are on the same continent as the airport.
- Connected: The continent you are on is connected to the continent the airport is on.
- Not Connected: The continent you are on is not connected to the continent the airport is on.

[M] Button: Menu options.
[A] Button: Airport lists as explained under instructions.
[i] Button: Shows the wiki page of the current airport.

The Menu:
Main
- Scan Closest: Organize all airports in the list in order of distance.
- Airport List: List all airports.
- Continent: List all continents, which will list all airports in that continent when selected.
- Teleport: Teleport you directly to the selected airport.

Options

Creating your own airport list:

==========

Be Aware:
- The list won’t always be 100% up to date. Due to airports constantly changing, it can be hard to keep track of them. I have several resources to try and keep this as up to date as possible, but if you find any that are not, please use the Report Airport feature.
-The pointer only refreshes every second to prevent lag.
- As mentioned previously, there is a hard limit of 250 airports. This is to prevent out of memory issues and long loading times.
- The Scan Closest airport does not automatically update. Since this can cause confusion when between two different airports and the amount of lag it will create sorting airports constantly, you will have to manually initiate it.

I saw this and also many others, I already had a free gps that was unsupported with updates but felt it was not doing what I needed it to do. Anyway I decided to buy this and am so pleased I did. It comes preloaded with the landing point position of many airports across all the Mainland sims in Secondlife, and not only this but you can update the notecard inside it when you find new airports to add to your ever growing list. Just goto the end of the runway where you land and take a note of the co-ordinates, then you can drop them along with the name of the airport and continent into the notecard and update the list when you save it. Simple but cleverly done. You get the exact co-ordinate of landing point and also the altitude of the runway so no longer should you find yourself hurling towards a wall too low to make the runway without enough throttle to abort.
