I do live music shows in SL and had a Wizard of Oz theme come my way. I normally rez a stage set for each show, custom built to suit each venue I play. This can be time-consuming, so I was thrilled to find this Wizard of Oz Tribute Stand to add to my set for this one special show. It's very well done with striking props, etc - BUT - I couldn't use it because the objects are either set wrong so it's not copy-able...or there are scripts with no perms at all. What you end up with here is a linkset with NO permissions at all, in spite of it being advertised as copy/mod. What's worse - I left the creator a notecard AND an offline IM - and NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. Yes - I know it's "Only Second Life" - so if that's going to be the attitude, then don't try to make a buck selling things to people who just *might* take it a bit more seriously. I ended up doing my own build either from scratch or using other Copy/Mod props, pieces, and parts. I'm venting here out of frustration. I'll give 3 stars to the Tribute Stand but I'm giving the content creator a big fat ZERO for customer service - even if the permissions indicated on the sell page for this item are an error. Mistakes are acceptable - but ignoring the customer completely IS NOT.
