[BW] HBA-1 - Heavy Battle Armour Version 1.0
This is the next step in the Blue Works armour range. The HBA 1 is a ultra heavy battle suit one step away from full combat mech designed to be the first into combat its built to take punishment while dishing out death.

I had hopes. They were dashed.
Pros:
-The knife is pretty nice. Seriously, it looks like more effort went into it than the rest of the armour combined.
-Low impact
-Backpack is well modeled
-Pretty sure it's not a rip, or bought from a model site and uploaded.
Cons:
-mediocre rigging
--as seen in the product pictures, chest is rigged in such a way that the front plating bends. Chest is all one piece.
-every object is only one face
-poor texturing, in diffuse, specular and normals, resulting in a plastic sheen on everything.
--no base textures or UV maps provided to work off of (ie, good luck retexturing it)
-axes on many of the parts are off, so resizing those parts is impossible unless directly scaling x y z together

This is a problem on the following parts:
--upper arms
--lower arm guards
--feet
--lower legs
--both parts of the upper leg object
--buttplate on belt
If it weren't for the axes problem, it'd be a 3 star product, with the addition of base textures to work with it'd be 4 stars, and if each part were broken up into logical faces, an easy 5 stars.
As it is, I would recommend not buying it unless you want only the shoulders, the knife, or the backpack, and even then buy with the knowledge that you are not going to be able to retexture them.
Solid build, amazing theme, but lacking polish to become completely perfect.
Pros:
-Really cool looking heavy armor reminiscent of Blacklight stuff... except it's all handmade and NOT stolen meshes!
- Rigged undersuit for flexibility with unrigged pieces for resizing, you can easily take parts from this and mod it to other avatars.
- Mix of hard sci-fi/near future themes with heavy robotics make it welcome in futuristic and/or late modern era sims.
Cons:
- Creator fails to take advantage of recolorable faces/sections, making it extremely hard to color this suit.
- The texture is somewhat drab without material effects, and is also one color, making coloring options extremely limited.
- There are "see-through" seams in the armor, hardly noticable except to those with keen eyes.
- Certain pieces look jagged/somewhat uneven when observed closely.
Overall worth the money, very cool looking suit, but I can't help but feel that this suit feels rushed, lacking the finishing steps that would otherwise make this perfect.
