Ballinger's Summers Street is based on a house built in 1830 for the daughter of a wealthy businessman. For SL, I have left out the Servants' wing beyond the kitchen.

Entering through the covered Porch, you are in the Hall, with its center staircase. To the left is the panelled Library, with fireplace; to the right are the twin Drawing Rooms, both with fireplace and access to the columned Veranda; directly ahead is the Dining Room, with fireplace and grand chandelier. Around the corner of the L-shaped hall is the Side entrance and a door that leads to the service hall and Kitchen.
Upstairs there is a Master Suite with ensuite and closet, a Guest Room with closet , two more Bedrooms and a Hall Bath.
Shuttered windows open and close, as do the shutters [except on the Veranda and above the front entrance,where they are permanently open.] Touch the windows once to set them, then just touch to open or close. Interior doors are owner-controlled. [double doors open when the primary door is touched]
