The main dishes on platters are accompanied by smaller portions, which are served directly onto their plates with the help of a menu built into each one of the plates. According to the French dining style known as *service à la Française*, each guest chooses which dish to taste, allowing the entire meal to be presented at once on the table for a more impressive appearance.
The preparations are complemented by a complete porcelain service created in 1771 by the Royal Manufacture of Sèvres. This set was acquired by the Count of Artois (brother of King Louis XVI), the Duke of Harcourt, and the Grand Duke Paul Petrovich of Russia, among others. The set includes soup and flat plates, serving trays, glass buckets, a salad bowl, individual glass coolers, wine and liqueur bottle coolers, a bucket for glasses, a terrine with its tray, square, round, and shell-shaped compotiers, gravy boats, and a large punch bowl.
Each piece is 1 LI (0.5LI) and 2 when a food is displayed.
