Basic Female Misogi or Noro Kimono (full perm updated)

Headband will need to be resized for your head. Also included are the obi in large and small, some resizing may be needed for your particular shape. I suggest making copies before modifying.

This is the basic misogi garb for females, though modest males may also use these. This outfit is also appropriate for Ryukyuan Noro (Priestesses). Noro traditionally show whether their deity is male or female by the position of the knot on their headband. The only color of the Noro kimono is white, it is the Japanese Miko who is more colorful.

Matching white hakama are available. Already available are "large" but "small" will be available soon.

I do ask that you not texture this unless you have directly asked me, and certainly do not sell it if retextured without my permission. As it is noro kimono and intended to remain "undyed."

This item was updated Apr. 23, 2013 as a customer had found a problem with permissions. So I went in and dug through them all to fix them for her. If there are any problems that you find with any of my products, please send me a message and/or notecard first so that I can fix it for you. REMEMBER, NORO WEAR ONLY WHITE! IT IS NOT A NORO KIMONO IF YOU ADD COLOR. IT IS A NORO KIMONO MEANT FOR A TOON STYLE PRESENTATION, THUS WHY THE PLAIN WHITE TEXTURE. If you color this it is not a MISOGI kimono nor is it NORO as both are traditionally white. If you wear color in ritual you may not say you are dressed as noro.
