This is a set of tools useful for builders.
The set includes:

relinker (and dev tools)
relink in correct order tool
Check Content Permissions tool
Replace texture tool
Transfer Textures tool.
Small Pieces Finder
Link Info Detect
These tools are intended for expert builders and the texture tools won't work if you don't have full perms textures in your inventory.

Almost all the items are made by more than one prim, all linked together.
These are called linksets, and each of the prims forming a linkset has a link number
The main prim (Root prim) has number 1, and sequentially the others have their respective number
These tools will simplify the builder's life, especially if their builds include scripts that work with link numbers.
Every box contains the script with its own instructions manual.

Here's what this pack contains:
The relinker allows you to add prims to your linkset without worrying too much of the link number.
You can use it to add a whole linkset to another linkset. It is used by vehicle modders if they want to add details to their vehicles
The dev tools are intended for people that want to sell upgrades or add-ons for third party developer: example a solar panel for a boat.

The relink in correct order allows you to replace a link in its specific link number order.
Example: you need to replace a speed dial in your car, and the dial link number is 14.
If you do it manually, then the new link number will be 2. A pain, because then you have to open the script and change from 34 to 2 where you need.
Also because all the rest of the link numbers will change.
Well, this script will make the new dial be 14 again. And it copies various parameters from old prim:
Name, color, physical shape, textures, normal maps, specular maps, local pos, local rot, size.

The Check Contents Permissions tool can be useful to check perms for next owner. What does it mean?
You can simply drop this script into the product's main prim and it will report the perms on all contents for the next owner.
It can be useful for double checking and be sure that you don't give away nothing fullperms.

The replace texture tool is useful to change a texture, or specular, or normal in a whole linkset.
You need the two UUIDs of old and new texture and this script will search for the UUID on all prims and replace it with the new UUID.
Useful if you have same texture on a lot of prims, or small unreachable prims around your linkset (Like dials behind the dashboard glass)

The Transfer Texture tool will instead transfer the textures from an object to another.
Of course it works with any object, but it's thought to be used on a object that is the same copy of the source object.
Example, you made a house, noticed that some bits of it are wrong and you re-upload it.
But once uploaded, it's without textures, and you have to re-add them again.
Easy with this script, it will transfer texture, normal and specular to the new object copying them from the old one.

The Small Pieces finder allows you to find out which is the smallest bit of your linkset that won't allow you to reduce the size of your thing.
Useful if you want to transform a car, truck, plane or anything into a display small model to keep on a table or for events that won't allow you big space.
it will also unlink automatically the small pieces, if you want.

The Link Number Info gives infos about a prim into a link number once touched.
You can hold click for three seconds to enable/disable this instrument, so you can click other stuff while not getting flooded with messages and without removing the script from the object's inventory.
It gives the following infos:
Prim Link Name, Prim Link Number (and total link count), Touched prim face, Vector ST (face's touch position) Prim's local pos Prim's local rot, Prim Size, Prim's UUID, Prim's texture UUID for touched face (If full perm)

Some of them require you to disable scripts in the objects before using.
Some of them require you to have full perms textures in your inventory.

Here's the ones that require the scripts set to not running:
Relinker ( and relinker dev tools )
Relink in correct Order

The rest does not require you to set scripts to not running:
Check Content Perms
Replace texture tool (Needs full perms textures in inventory)
Transfer Texture tool (Needs full perms textures in inventory)

Tip: To disable scripts, use the top menu Build -> Scripts -> Set Scripts to not running.

I use these tools daily and i hope you find them useful too.

Best,

Ape
