Conference Camera
The conference camera is a camera viewing system specially designed for use in conferences and presentations.
Ever wanted to present specific views of an object to an audience? This can be a work of art, or a fashion show!
Want to give a guided tour without the hassle of leading people around and trying to point them to specific details?
Need to focus conference participants on specific parts of your slide?
Then the conference camera is your rescue!
You prepare a set of predefined camera positions with the included conference camera HUD. You can of course make it that those camera positions show your product in the best way :-) Your guests, or the conference participants, take place on the special conference chairs or conference benches. Then you start the conference, and all participants see through the camera positions you have prepared with the HUD, and see your products or presentation as you want them to see it! You can switch through the presets to guide them through your tour for example.
Below you find the usage instructions. Hope you like the gadget!

How does it work?
1) First of all you have to rez a Conference Camera Server object. Place it somewhere in the middle of where the people sit. You can make smaller and put it under the conference table for example. It reaches 100m around itself. The camera server is a central access control point. Its configuration (which you find in the notecard "CONFIGURATION" in the server object) defines who can control the camera channels. You could allow other people (from a list of from the group the server has) to change the camera positions for example. The configuration is preset to allow only the owner (resp. the owner's objects) to change any of the channel.
2) Place the conference chairs and/or bench like in a conference room or an auditorium. Your guests / conference partners will sit on these to follow your presentation. You can also place the conference table (which has no scripted function but is of the same design).
Contact me if you need custom designs.
3) With the Conference Camera HUD you can control the camera channels. Attach the HUD to any of the HUD attachment points, by default it goes to the bottom left. You can edit the position when attached, it will re-adjust when you attach it to a different HUD position.
Once attached, store the different camera positions you need for your conference or presentation, by setting the camera appropriately, then clicking "store" on the HUD and then the position number "1" through "20". You can "clear" camera positions too. For more details see the included Conference Camera HUD Helpcard, which is also available from the HUD's "help" button.
4) To start the conference, click "conf" on the HUD and select "start" from the menu (if the button is red, which means you have not yet started the conference). Once started, the "conf" button turns green and the people sitting on the conference chairs and benches will see what you set the HUD to. I.e. if you lock the HUD on position "2" for example, all the participants will look in the direction stored in this position!
Once the conference has started, you can click the "conf" button to end the conference, or to take a break: all participants are left looking at the HUD position, but you can unlock you own camera. To resume, click on the "conf" button again, and click "con
Brilliant work by Mr.Bitman yet again
Works perfectly. Have at my office and show new group members all about my Final Retreat, displaying areas of Grim City that enthralls them.
Great, thank you, Bitman.
