Modify or No Modify? That is the question! ;-)
Because of the jewelry's scripting (which is not modifable), the object will read as "No Modify" in your Inventory. However, the jewelry itself is indeed fully "Modify". For example, rezzing the jewelry on the floor and right clicking to "edit" it will allow you "modify" rights.
