The flashlight cast a round proyected light as seen in the pictures above. Make sure to turn Advanced Lighting Model on and enable Projectors in your viewer Graphics preferences.
This flashlight can be used with or without a HUD. The included HUD looks like a small flashlight icon that appears in your screen. Click on it to make the flashlight invisible and stop the holding animation. Click again the HUD to hold the flashlight back on.
That way you don't have to look for the flashlight in your inventory whenever you want to use it. You keep it always ready at just one click.
You can also rez a copy of the flashlight inworld (on a desk for example) and touch it to switch it ON/OFF.
Also available is a Group Compatible wearable version, where each user in the same sim is able to have its own independent switchable flashlight avoiding communication channel conflicts between devices. See related items below.

So I wrote a previous review, but it turned out my problems were user-error *hangs head in shame* The creator contacted me shortly after purchase and helped sort it out. Proof yet again in the event of problems to reach out to the creator first before writing a review (I'll remember that for next time ;) ) So in light of all that (pun intended) I'm giving this flashlight 5 stars. It does what it says, works as it should, and comes with great customer service too. Plus the animation is a nice touch, better than the generic hold. 5 stars!
