Wew the desert is hot. How hot you asking? Well, lemme tell you, hot enough to rot the raw hide off your back. We're talking two rats poseballing in a wool sock hot. Lookie here: two cactus dryads are walking across a desert. They aint doing no harm, just minding their own business and trying to survive without shriveling up and losing their needles. With the buzzards circling above, they decide to take a break in the shade. All of a sudden, the cliff shadow they're resting their little root dawgs under starts to move. They look up and nearly spill their sap on the ground. It wasn't a cliff at all, but a megabeast Cactus Cat looking all smug as it taunted them.
