Crossroads symbolize a convergence of energies, worlds, and transitions.
There are two types of crossroads - three way and four way intersections with each having its own slightly different inhabitants and wanderers.
Many cultures observe crossroads as a place of importance; from ley lines, Papa Legba, Hekate, Hermes, vortexes, and even the chaos of our every day streets.
This reagent is often used in rituals and rites pertaining to connecting with a specific force or decision making opportunity. It is also used to symbolize carrying the energy of change and opening doors.
Many have heard of the tales of musicians finding their way to a crossroads to have a chat with Papa Legba (often mistaken for the Devil), in order to petition him to aid them in acquiring talent in a specific skill... for a price, whereas other cultures often note the crossroads as being a space where one can connect with those on other planes and realms. The favorite offerings of Hekate are generally left at a three way crossroads.
These are just some short notes on this reagent. As always do your research and dive into books or webpages. We offer these reagents to help you in your spiritual growth, path, and learning.
