***CC-Linkset Auto Resizer***
***UPDATE***
Added CC-SizeSetter(OnSit) script and CC-SitAnim script allowing the CC-LinksetAutoResizer to be activated when an avi sits on the item.
***What it does***
The CC-Linkset Auto Resizer will automatically resize a linkset perfectly to the scale of the avi who wants to use it.
For example,you have a chair that your big chunky friend would like to sit on but you made it to fit you and you are only average size,
Normally he would just have to sit on a chair that is too small for him but with the CC-Linkset Auto Resizer he can click on the chair and it will automatically resize to the perfect scale for him to sit on it.
(Can be activated other ways,more on that later)
***What you get***
5 scripts and a notecard
* CC-Linkset Auto Resizer script
* CC-Size Getter script
* CC-Size Setter (On Touch) script
* CC-Size Setter (On Sit) script
* CC-Sit Anim script (With simple rotation method)
* This Notecard
***How to use it***
1-Rez a cube
(Don't link it yet,this has to be the root prim of your linkset but if your build has no place for a cube you can make it transparent.You can resize it but make sure it remains a cube,same size all sides)
2-Drag the CC-Size Getter script into your cube,then click it
(You can't resize the cube manually after this step so make sure you are happy with it's size before you proceed)
3-The percentage size of the cube compared to your avi will pop up in local chat Copy this number so you can paste it in a sec.
4-Delete the CC-Size Getter script and drag the CC-Size Setter script into your cube.Double click on the CC-Size Setter script and paste the number you copied to the top of the script.
(It's commented so even those with no scripting knowledge will easily understand it,This method works for both the (On Touch) and (On Sit) versions)
(If using the (On Sit) version add the CC-SitAnim script at this point too and set it to copy only,the CC-SitAnim script doesn't need editing but is full perm and does have some features you might want to tweak for a more customised build)
5-Set the CC-Size Setter script to copy only
6-Resize your build to the perfect size for your avi
(Your build,not the cube)
7-Link the cube to your build,making it the root prim
8-Drag the CC-Linkset Auto Resizer script into your cube and your done
(Once all these steps are finished you can manually resize the item and the scripts will still work fine although I can't see why you would want to)
Now it will resize to scale for most avis,
It may or may not resize for tinies or micro avis,your only limitation here is second life's minimum and maximum prim sizes.
