Autumn was beginning, and as we bid farewell to summer, we once again found ourselves at the Antiquarian store, tucked away in a hidden alley along one of the city’s winding streets.

Though our visits were usually prompted by some errand of Sharian’s, such as replacing yet another of his long-stemmed pipes broken during our travels, or acquiring some obscure piece of laboratory equipment, I had come to cherish these excursions. Among the dusty shelves, I often discovered strange treasures, and the store had quietly become one of my favorite haunts.

This time was no exception. While my teacher browsed for obscure alchemical instruments, my gaze was arrested by a most extraordinary sight: a beautiful, ornate spider lamp, suspended from a chain above the central counter. Its glow spilled down across the grinning, bespectacled face of the shopkeeper, who by now clearly knew how easily I could be enchanted by the unusual.

The lamp’s body was wrought in gleaming metal, its bulbous abdomen formed of blown glass overlaid with intricate scrollwork. The abdomen and the many eyes glowed with a steady, vibrant light, bathing the counter in hues of luminous green. I had not even spoken a word, yet the Antiquarian was already fetching his stepladder to take it down for me, so plainly had my delight betrayed me.

IMPORTANT!
This is a Blinn-Phong/PBR Transition Set, that means it has both traditional materials and the new PBR materials.
The PBR set is dual, it uses both traditional materials AND the new PBR materials, you will only be able to see the PBR materials in a PBR capable viewer.

INSTRUCTIONS:

IMPORTANT> The Lamps are activated through a click and hold pop-up menu to avoid accidental menu activations in active landscapes. A short click will NOT activate the menu. A click-and hold for approximately 2 seconds is necessary to activate it.

ALL: Change the Spider´s glass color, emissive color and lightto 10 Different color choices, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Blue, Purple, Pink and Fatpack Bonuses White And Black. The changes will take effect on both the old materials and the PBR new materials system. You will see the one your viewer is capable of displaying. This will also change the emissive (PBR) and light color (if on).

EmissCLR PBR ONLY: Choose one of the 10 possible color variations for the emissive. If Emissive or Light are off the changes will take place, but will not be visible till either setting is turned on.

LightCLR: Choose one of 10 possible light colors, separately of the glass color and emissive color.

Glow: On/Off Switch. Turns on/off the glowing effect for the spider´s glass parts. If this option is on and the Day or Night Cycle options are activated, the glowing effect will turn on automatically during the day/night. No Advanced Lighting Model required.

Options: Will take you to the option selection submenu-
-Emiss: Turn On/Off Emissive effect, both PBR and legacy textures
-Glow: Turn On/Off the hazzy glow effect when emissive is on.
-Light: Turn On/Off the light effect (per each individual spider)
-Light Range: Adjust the light range (per each individual spider) of the light when on
-Day: Automate the glow and emissive during your region/parcel Day! This option detects the position of the sun in your parcel/region according to the horizon.
If the sun position is fixed this option will not work.
-Night: Automate the glow and emissive during your region/parcel Night! This option detects the position of the sun in your parcel/region according to the
horizon. If the sun position is fixed this option will not work.

Close: Will close the pop-up menu and set the script to sleep. The script will automatically go to sleep too after 2 minutes without receiving a command. Click again to reactivate.
