Archive: The solution for inventory storage and safe keeping.

★ Box up and store things you no longer actively need.
★ Store existing boxes or rez a basket to box up your items.
★ Organize your archived items in drawers.
★ Search and retrieve stored items easily.
★ Seamless integration with the (CTS) Wardrobe.

The Archive comes as a copyable cabinet, in which you can store boxes you don't want to clutter your inventory with (i.e., boxes and shopping bags as they come from designers and creators), and baskets you can fill with your own things that you don't actively need anymore in your inventory.

The Archive's fundamental organizing principle are drawers, into which you'll categorize your items for easier handling, search, and retrieval. Of course, the Archive includes a search function that searches all drawers, and gives you commands to retrieve or delete boxes from your Archive.

Adding a box to the Archive is as easy as Ctrl+dragging the box onto the Archive. All you have to do then is tell it which drawer to put it into.

To box up your own items (always put them in boxes! don't just randomly drop notecards, landmarks, or objects etc. in there!), the Archive rezzes a basket for you which you can fill with your things, and it will visually indicate that there is something in it. If you use a viewer with zdrop support, copy and paste the command chatted to you by the basket, and it will be filled automagically!

Last but not least, the Archive integrates seamlessly with your (CTS) Wardrobe. You can search the Archive directly from your Wardrobe page, you can box up items (e.g., old non-mesh things you don't need anymore) by clicking the "Archiving" icon, and the Archive will rez a basket for you, and you can retrieve a box by clicking the "Unarchiving" icon. If you drag a box to the Archive, it will ask you if you want to associate it with an item in your Wardrobe, and if you choose to do so, you can later retrieve the box by also clicking the "Unarchiving" icon.

OMG I love this thing!!!

I've had the Wardrobe since 2018, but was always too afraid to use it because setting it up seemed really complicated to me at the time. But, recently I came across this Archive dresser, mainly because I was looking for something I could use as a visual makeshift closet for my Zooby newborn clothing meshes (they don't have closets yet), but to also store other items. I'm trying to lower my inventory.

This thing - in combination with the Wardrobe - has EVERYTHING I wanted!! I've read all the manual information I could find online, and then slowly followed how to use it. I haven't turned back since!

If anyone is looking for a good item to store things and lower your inventory, I HIGHLY recommend getting this (and the Wardrobe)!!! You won't be disappointed!

very nice inventory archive.

Storing items in objects to get them out of inventory has been around forever, but this is the easiest system I've ever used. There is a nice interface with their Wardrobe organizer and it also works great stand alone. Items are so easy to find and retrieve.

I'd recommend first practice archiving and retrieving with a copied item, but once you get the hang of it it's easy to use. Well worth the cost.

This thing malfunctioned beyond belief. It sucked 3,260 items from my inventory into a drawer ...

while dragging just one backet into the drawer. I had the one basket, one of the ones rez'd from the archive itself, named with the popup window .. ALL PART OF THE PROCESS .. that is how the archive is SUPPOSSED TO WORK. I've had the item for a while but got extremely busy in RL. I made sure the item was updated by getting a redelivery before using it. I am absolutely devasted. Among the items pulled are many no copy gacha and breedable babies. This is terrible. If I could give one star, I would.

I really like the idea, but my thoughts was it will remove from my inventory but it will be saved in the baskets. I have a lot in my inventory and was hoping i wouldnt have to see it in there, so now i can search the baskets or my inventory.

How long has this been out? Seriously?

Okay, so these archive things have been around since I can remember (and I signed in back in 2005) - Tried them, found them clunky and risky, too difficult to use, blah, blah; hardly even worth the effort.

Then I ran into the in-world shop to grab an update (redelivery) of my CTS Wardrobe (because it's still being enhanced and updated!) and cammed around a bit at the vendors there. Then I spotted this. First thought: "Another rezzable archive box, ho-hum". Then went to the web site to read more about it. Found that it is AWESOMELY linked to CTS wardrobe. "Okay, it's inexpensive, I'll give it a shot, but won't hold my breath."

OH.
MY.
GOD.

I love this thing. Seriously... the way it works with the CTS Wardrobe and everything is linked together and easy-to-use... simply wow. And a great way to "remove" outfits from my Wadrobe without actually "removing" them! Not only it is amazingly easy to use and slick as snot in doing so, it actually enhanced CTS Wardrobe in ways I never imagined.

Three thumbs up just doesn't say enough.
