Unique textures, low-prim, stunning details - this is Casa Carmina by Tin Teddy.
Allow me to give you the 'grand tour' :-)
Casa Carmina is 30m x 20m and 121 prims (including the fireplaces, doors and fountain).
The outside is a traditional Spanish lemon with vines and ivy growing over it. Lots of little details give this home an attractive look for any location. Following feedback I have now changed the original roof design and it is indeed much better for it :-)
The hallway has a grape motif stenciled on the walls - there is a general theme of grapes and wine in this Mediterranean style house. All the textures were custom made for this building, no off-the-peg stuff here.
The room to the left is decorated in a soft blue. With its big French windows giving a lovely view of the garden this would make a wonderful dining or music room. A matching fireplace is included, with scripted flames and crackle.
To the right of the hallway is a large room, again with matching fireplace. A cute nook under the stairs provides more scope for decorating. The door to the pool room leads from this room.
Upstairs there is a very large bedroom (well, sometimes camera angles are essential in bedrooms, aren't they?) with a smaller room leading from it. Ideal for a second bedroom, study etc? Double doors lead out onto the spacious balcony.
The bathroom is nicely tiled and again, lots of camera room. It could also be used for other purposes of course.
The pool room is stunningly textured with mosaics on the walls and tiles on the floor. Here you can relax by the pool, which features 'splashy' water. This is the ideal location for socializing :-)
The garden is my favorite feature of this villa. The textures took many hours and are all custom made - every plant was created for this project. The fountain has sound and movement and you can easily turn the trickling sound off if you want. The garden bench has a multi-pose system with a range of poses/animations for one person, posing (ideal for modeling) and some romantic couple poses. Please note, these are NOT freebie ones but quality animations from Bits & Bobs and my own poses. There is also a birdsong emitter here for ambient sound - which is again, controllable.
Other features:
Opening garden gate (with a slight squeak, hehe)
All doors are scripted and can be locked, set to group etc (NDE scripting)
Birdsong emitter by YavaScript - different sounds depending on the time of day, volume and on/off can be easily controlled from the menu, plus you can customize it with your own sounds (full instructions included)
Three stage privacy windows - You can have the shutters open, closed or just closed on the outside (ideal for privacy)
Casa Carmina has taken me many,many hours to create. Every texture has been lovingly created for this project using real photos, professional graphics resources and hand-made components. By creating the textures myself I have been able to maximize the prim usage, without compromising on quality.
Rezzing the villa is very easy using the Jack in the Box system. Drop, click, position and freeze. Full instructions included, of course. This will rez the FULL house, doors, fireplaces, water, fountain etc. The fireplaces and fountain are also included separately for your convenience.
Everything is modifiable and copyable (except for the scripts, which are not modify). This means you can customize or expand safely, and can rez as many copies as you might want.
