Castanets are a percussion instrument (idiophone), used in Moorish, Ottoman, ancient Roman, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American music. The instrument consists of a pair of concave shells joined on one edge by string. These are held in the hand and used to produce clicks for rhythmic accents or a ripping or rattling sound consisting of a rapid series of clicks.

This package was inspired by Meriadne Merlin who is also the creator of the sound files.
You can purchase additional sound files & full length songs in-world.

Also there are Full Perm Animations that can be purchased for each instrument in-world.(Landmark giver in-world at Sculpty Republic)

Script is just a basic touch On/Off loop. Same script in all instrument packs.Script is complimentery.

Each castanet is 2 prims.

Debugging your LOD settings is something that can and will make all your sculpts hold the intended detail better.
Follow these easy steps:

1. Show the "Advanced" menu with Ctrl-Alt-D, or Opt-Ctrl-D on a Mac.
2. Select "debug settings" near the bottom.
3. In the blank space, copy and paste the word:

RenderVolumeLODFactor

4. In the box below, set the number. The recommended setting is as high as 4 to have all your sculpts looking as the creator intended.
