The rapids are made in sculpted prims to ensure you can stretch to any desired size (within the 64 x 64 meter limit of objects in SL) to fit your needs without having the land impact change.
You can use them for an inland river or an estuarie where the river flows to the SL sea. They work well between steep rocky banks and you can easily add more than one object stretching the river rapids over a sim long river if you need it.
The rapids are modifiable so you can adjust color tint, transparency and linked prim position and size to fit your needs. Remember to take a backup copy before you start adjusting your rapids.
