The conifers are made using the best textures and each branch was designed independantly to give you the best viewing experience. The stem alone consists of 3 different scuplties, because of it complexity.

nice concept but needs some work
The bark on these trees were very lovely, their best feature. The shadow was also quite nice. And the trees are Mod, allowing you to resize or retint them.
The shape of the tree was very flat (instead of round) and did not work for my needs, but might be well suited for people who want to use the trees along a tall fence. I only tried the 40 M tree, and it may be that the other trees have rounder shapes, I just did not bother looking at them, because there was a alpha issue with the pine needles that was a show stopper for me personally.
The pine needles had some serious alpha issues... the various branches tended to alpha occlude each other (make portions of the pine needles invisible from various angles). And from more than a few meters away, the pine needles were just a green blur, not distinguishable as leaves. I tried changing from Alpha blending to alpha masking and even with a very high mask value I could not get them to look ok.
I lifted the shadow prim to use on their similar 7 size Conifer trees. The rest of the item did not work well for my needs, but for the low price of 29L, I can not complain.
