The crocodile is animated to charge out of the water and threaten anyone who would dare to get too close!

The crocodile has full sound - violent splashing when it climbs out of the water, a hiss and growl when he threatens someone and a more gentle splashing sound when he retreats back into the water.

We have tried to make the positioning and animation as generic as we can to suit as many riverbanks / lake shores as possible. So we have included two crocodiles! One for shallow shores and one for steeper shores.
Please try the demo first. We cannot promise it will be suitable out of the box. Some terrain editing may be needed.
To help with positioning there are a couple of sculpties with sand and grass textures included.

In the box:

Animated Crocodile for deep shores (approx. 1.5 meters) (22 prims)
Animated Crocodile for shallow shores (approx. 0.5m) (22 prims)
3 Sculpties for the shore (sand and two grass shades) (not included in the demo) (1 prim)
3 sets of mesh cattails (not included in the demo) (1 prim)

Please note the demo crocodiles are 23 prims. But the actual product is 22.

----- Setup -----

When you initially rez the crocodile you will notice two coloured prims - one green and another one is red.

The green prim is just a visual reference to help position the crocodile. It represents the crocodiles approximate path.

The red prim is the collision detect prim and this is the prim which will need positioning using "Edit Linked Parts". Position this where people will walk. When their avatar collides with the prim it will trigger the crocodile animation and sounds.

*** Remember to make a backup of the crocodile before you edit it! ***

To edit the collision detect prim:

1) Right click the crocodile and select "Edit"

2) On the edit window select "Edit Linked Parts"

3) Left click on the red prim to select it. It will have a thin blue outline (but nothing else will).

5) Use the prim movement guide arrows to position it (hold down CTRL key to rotate).

6) When done, close the edit window.

When you have the crocodile all set, walk over the red prim to test.

Click on the red or green prim to get the setup menu. Select "Set Up" and then "Hide" to hide the setup prims. Use "Show" to make them visible again.
You can delete the hide/show setup script by going into "options" on the crocodile setup menu to save a little script memory.
