(Challis) Photo Studio (DEMO)(BOXED) Version 1.9

Version 1.2 did not work due to how the permission system works with adding textures to objects that an avatar does not have full permissions with. I have sold quite a few of these and no one let me know that it was effectively broken! Please please please tell the merchant if you buy something that does not work. Most will try to fix it.

We got fed-up with using an inconvenient method of placing a texture onto a prim for each set of images for a product. So I made a quick and dirty backdrop. We then got fed-up with the blue menu and its lack of preview icons once the backdrop collection grew beyond three images. Not all photo studios had the features we wanted without the large land impact.

So I made my own and we have decided to sell it as others may want the same features that we did.

The photo studio is 100% mesh and comes in two parts.

- Backdrop - 1 LI each and uses only 6kb of script memory.
- Three versions of backdrops
- 25 x 11 meters.
- 12 x 8 meters.
- 8 x 5.5 meters.

- Photo Studio Control - 3 LI (with 40 buttons) and uses 6kb of script memory.
- Quick and easy to add more buttons and textures.
- All textures on display.
- Short range controller included with a range of 10m.

- This comes with NO poses or animations and NO scripts for poses/animations. It is a backdrop and texture controller system only.

There are 38 of the textures that I use for backdrops. Easy to replace or add more.

The photo studio is copy and mod (no transfer). It can be resized but the background is using planar so some fiddling may be needed if you do that. Also, as with all mesh, the LI may increase is you make it larger.

The normal control has a range of 20m and anyone can use it. If you want to have multiple backdrops rezed then the control needs to be within 20m of the center of the backdrop and further than 20m from any backdrops you do not want effected by the control.
Or you can use the short range control which has a range of 10m.

To add more buttons to the control;

- Use edit linked parts to select a row of buttons.

- Shift+CTRL+L to unlink that button row.

- Shift+drag to copy the row of buttons.

- Move the new buttons into position.

- Shift+left click the two button rows then the main control panel.

- Ctrl+L to link it all back together.

- Change the textures on the new button row

- Copy the image into the button row prim (using edit linked parts) AND into the backdrop.

*This is a limitation of texture/object permissions and the image has to be in the items contents tab.

Adding more buttons to the control will add 0.5 LI per set of eight buttons.
