Its first owner and builder was baron Pierre Lesclapiers de Miroux, a successful Calvados (Apple brandy) trader. After his death the business slowly foundered and his widow struggled to find the resources to maintain the house. Maybe inspired by the name of the place, baroness de Miroux moved to the guards pavillon and started a new kind of business in the castle, where nice looking young women played the main part...

Classical French Chateau Doesn't Disappoint
I love the exterior and interior texturing of this build. Many builds are great outside but unattractive or oversimplified inside. This is certainly not true of this build, with three stories and a basement and numerous rooms that I have yet to fill. The wood floors, wallpapers, plaster ceilings, etc. are all appropriate, attractive, original, and diverse. The build includes a generous entrance hall, noble stairs, grand living room with fireplace and adjacent dining room, a bathroom, and a splendid attic. It could use a kitchen, but the build is mod and I had no trouble - like bleeding textures, etc. - retexturing one room for a modest kitchen.
In love for this house
First at all, i am in love for this house since months and now i own it ! it's such an unique piece of architecture!Each room is decorated with aestetic textures make you feeling home.i like each detail even the painted ceiling! So far i do believe it is my favorite house! .Creators put a soul into this house! Well done!
Several problems with rezzing
Having already a great collection of houses in SL i decided to puchased this one also. I wanted to rezz the house on the ground and no on the sky. The problem is that, or the basement is rezzed under the ground or the entrance was too high so impossible to get in (dragging the rezzer higher). Finally i built 2 very long staircases to get in the house (front side and back side). Of course it is a rough solution and they are not look good, i am not a builder.
The building has few more imperfections at the basement. The basement's floor projects at two points looking really bad so you have or to terraform or to cover it with other prim in order to hide. Also one part of basement's walls is not properly aligned with the rest something everyone can see checking the demo in world.
I would like also the doors to close automatically after some seconds. Ok the script is modifiable but i don't know how to do that.
I am really disappointed with this building, i expected something much better spending almost 4.000L$ but i was wrong. I contacted the creators (both) and i hope to have a reply soon. Till then i am sorry but i can't give more than 2 stars.

We have had this home, for over a year. The textures and workmanship, still bring me back to this store. Love the work.
