A Grand collection of furniture inspired by the Choiseul snuffbox, a small box decorated with miniatures representing some of the most representative rooms of the interior of the hotel Choiseul Crozat, the residence of the all-powerful secretary of state of Louis XV and architect of the marriage of Marie Antoinette and the dauphin of France Louis Auguste.
These pieces were designed in the second half of the 18th century by merchand merciers for a Parisian clientele avid for refined objects of great sophistication.
Among all the pieces included with this collection, a set of pieces decorated with Japanese lacquer panels stands out for its luxury (Lacquer that was brought back into fashion after the Queen of France Marie Antoinette inherited from her mother one of the most important collections of fine Japanese lacquer objects in Europe),
The collection is thus composed of a total of 20 different pieces;
