Cirrus Cloudbank (EEP)

Cirrus Cloudbank Skies
The cloud formation in this sky pack has distinctive dramatic fingers of cloud drifting out from the cloud bank. It will look great in your photography and you can easily freeze the sky and arrange the position of the clouds and sun to suit your location.
This cloud texture file was created from many photographs that I took of the real life skies over Adelaide in Australia, with some graphic amendment. Getting a collage of cloud photos to make a good sky texture involves a lot of work, especially as the file has to be seamless when tiled, and look reasonable in very low resolution in the Second Life sky. There is considerable R&D involved. Along with this texture, I have created a range of custom sky files designed to either be as realistic as possible, or to show some fantasy and flair. These have been highly customised to suit this specific cloud texture.
This pack contains:
21 customised sky files designed to show a variety of realistic and fantasy skies in Second Life.
The sky files use the following custom cloud texture: Cirrus_Cloudbank - clouds texture file
Some of the sky files make use of replacement sun or moon graphics as well.
See these clouds in use in the video link at the bottom of this page.
All of my sky packs may be used by Region and Parcel owners.
The included sky files are designed to be used with the new EEP replacement for Windlight. The current version of Firestorm viewer has EEP implemented.
