CyberTech - Abandoned Land Scanner (ALS)

Not many people know that if you own land in a region and there is abandoned land near or adjacent to your land parcel, you can ask Lindon Labs to sell you that land without going through the usual land auction process. Furthermore, as an added bonus, Linden will often sell you this land at a nominal price of $1 per square metre. The trick of course is to be the first to ask Linens when land becomes available, as it is sold on a first come first serve basis.
The down side to this is that abandoned land does not show up as any different to other land, so unless you physically check each land parcel in your region there is no way of know if any abandoned land is there. Furthermore you would have to do this regularly as land could be abandoned at any time or day by an owner.
Don't fancy doing a DAILY flyover of your region checking all land parcels? We have the solution.
At last, a very useful land scanner that will scan the entire region (mainland, Island or homestead) and report back details of any abandoned land detected. Not only will it notify you via an IM of the location, date abandoned and land parcel size but it will also send you a daily report via email at the end of the day,

Basic Instructions
------------------------
REZ the CyberTech - ALS Abandoned Land Scanner Delivery Box in world. You require Rez rights on the land to do this.
Click on the Delivery box to unpack your order.
Locate the CyberTech - ALS Abandoned Land Scanner folder in your inventory.
Drag and Drop the CyberTech - ALS Abandoned Land Scanner Object in the location on your land where you wish to install the scanner.
The Scanner will start to scan the region and a hover-text will indicate the current progress.
Information of Abandoned land will be displayed as an IM in the Chat window. An Email will be sent automatically at midnight.
Leave the scanner in world and it will operate automatically.
To initiate a Manual Scan click on the ALS Scanner object.

Product does not work
This product was supposed to send email and IM of abandoned land in the area. No email, no IM. I waited for days for this to work before I contacted the creator. I contacted the creator and explained but product isnt fixed. 300 L down the drain. 1 star for this is a great idea if it worked.
Run and buy this :)
This does everything its suppose to do, can even attach it to yourself if the sims you scan don't have any areas that are rez-enabled.
I also had the plessure of having a long chat with cyberguy4fun, that answered willingly all my questions about his product - and even had time for general smalltalk :).
Cannot give enough stars for both product and customer support as we are limited to 5 :D
If you're looking for abandoned land to buy through auctions (LL will put land you find in their auctions), then this is the product to buy :)
