I bought 4 of these, and love them all - While Star Wars and Trek became a base standard, there was HEAVY METAL magazine and in there? Sci Fi was colorful! Sci fi looked cool, and the 70's had some of the best ever tech design.
I am not saying she ripped off Moebius...but rather that this helmet brings the same peaceful and cool feeling that so much of his work did - Star Wars was all black and white and grey at times - Giruad's work was fanciful, colorful, near mesmerizing...these helmets look ace on their own and perfect in sci fi costumes.....i love them and worn one for a month when i bougt them
