A fantastic and realistic helicopter
There is a slight learning curve at first, which you would expect in learning how to fly ANY vehicle in "first life", but once you get the hang of it, this baby is astonishingly versatile. I'm zipping around like Colonel Kilgore now. AAA+++
Great product, not realistic tho.
I am tired of reading reviews from fake pilots in Second Life talking about how realistic a product is, especially one that doesn't have a DEMO (very bad on Dani's part, we've been like this for years). Is it a good product? Yes. Is it a realistic helicopter? Not at all. Is it fun to play? Highly recommended, but far from realistic (It improves a lot if you configure a Joystick-HOTAS with JoyToKey).
It's very smooth in flight and sim crossings, but it has the same issue as the other two planes I own from Dani Airplanes: the flight is very stationary, and while the planes lack a rudder preventing yaw adjustments, this helicopter practically lacks lateral translation or side-slip at low speeds. It's true that Shift + A/D does something similar, but not in a realistic way.
Again, it's a great helicopter. If you are thinking about buying it and don't care that it's not realistic, buy it. It's more realistic than other brands and more fun to fly than Shergood's (They aren't realistic either; they just have a different type of control that doesn't help much in SL).
The creator is not to blame for this review, but rather the other reviews.
Wow!! i normally dont fly helicopters but WOW
it like you are flying on silk, crosses sim like they dont exist, i saw some on the review about it crossing sims like butter, and that is what it does, Also i reccommend never selling this helicopter to Alex Greenfield..
