Great plane
full star full star full star full star empty star Posted June 13, 2023 by Martina Voxel

That is my 1st Dani plane i buy.
The plane itself is really great to pilot, and not difficult to handle.
The paintkit is well done too, just a bit things to know, that isnt really explained in notecard (the fuse texture in 2 parts, need a "joint" to be done).
I give only 4 stars because of 2 things.

1: it will be amazing if they can be added with Shergood tail number system, so that need a registration. As they are no mod, and Dani isnt in the creators list there, we cannot register them (if plane no mod, it could be at least implemented directly in the plane by Dani?)

2: The fuel system, and in particular the pump.... that is really a pain to use it. Need a lot and a lot tries to make the buttons functionnable. The autonomy of 40 minutes in the plane tanks seem really low too.

Anyway the plane, i can recommend it without problem, thank you for that advanced plane work

Good plane, flies good

What I said. Also counters that stupid 1-star review that has nothing to do with the plane and more to do with the poster having no clue how to use Photoshop.

Ignore 1 Star

Listen, for a single engine turbo-prop. Its flight dynamics are awesome.... Its a beauty on sim crossings low or high speed.

very nice, but...

...as usual for many creators, Daniels too has fallen into the trap of making sure that his customers have a very difficult life to customize their plane.
In fact you have to download from some web site (where you are forced to make an account before to be able to download) the texture files. Once you have download and unzipped it, you find 1 single file in .psd, that is totally useless without Photoshop. And since Photoshop is a very expensive software, I think not so many customers will be able to customize their plane. This is a very bad joke Daniels did to all of us!
Should be better, really much better, he put on the pack all the textures needed and make very easy the customization by customers.
I don't like at all this behave. For instance, for me is impossible to customize my plane as I expected indeed. So I'm forced to choice:1) I use the plane with the standard texture (very boring) or 2) I'm forced to buy from a third part a texture. But I cannot make my own one. Dear Daniel, this is a wrong step you did, and a big injustice done to your customers.
Without this big big issue, the review would have got 5 full stars.
Take care

An experimental plane with good flight behaviour

The (not yet released) RL Textron Cessna Denali may be the inspiration for this plane. To me it is the most present product of the "new" Daniels Fall plane collection, beginnig with the D-121, the D-207, the D-690 and now the D-Naly. With the new generation, Daniels Fall planes have a more realistic flap behaviour, many customer suggestions were implemented (like the seperate CAM HUD and more key commands - and 3 speed presets, to grant everybody a behaviour as used to).
These new planes are state of the art, this cannot be denied. The memory consumption is low, and the sim crossing behaviour is mostly excellent. At the moment, this "new generation" is the most actual plane generation available, and you can feel this. Some competitors have the general ability to build actual planes of a similar quality (they aren't present though), but noone can deny Daniels Fall is the most active at the moment (spring 2020). I am very satisfied with the plane, if you are pretty experienced you easily get used to it - and I am looking forward to new planes by Fall, and hopefully also by the competitors, to get the community and evolution going.
