Bringing this topic up to support staff got me no where, so all I can do is leave a review here.
The problem with this windpump is that the root prim which determines the distance where water can be picked up by a water tower is at the top of the windpump. Adversely, the root prim for modern style water towers is at the bottom. It does not matter if you put the tower and the windpump on top of each other, they will not be in range to transfer water. You have you lower the windpump until the blades are inside the water tower before it can be in range and transfer water.
Older windpump models have the root prim at bottom, so they work as expected when placed beside the water tower. Please fix this product and I will update my review.
