I dont know about buying this one from the demo
the gown looks gorgeous in the pictures, but its a risk to buy a standard sized outfit today in a fitted size mesh world I couldnt alpha out my body to fit the top, nor was an alpha included with the demo.. I even tried a system body and still couldnt get it to fit.. I wish this maker would refit it in fitted sizes. but for now for the cost of it its a no
Unfair Reviews
The notecard explains why there is a basic gown in there. I agree with the designer. With this particular design, the fit is important. It would have been nice to see the beautiful deep red color it turned out to be when I bought the dress, but it was so well made, I black didn't make me hesitate to buy it and all of the reviews were positive. I love the dress. With a few adjustments fit my Maitreya body nicely.
Looks like a beautiful gown......but
Totally agree with other review, whats the point in offering a demo of a gown that is nothing compared to the one being offered for sale, black in color and plain. Not buying yet till I feel like risking 500 L for the original. Looks lovely tho
why the demo?
Inside the demo you get a notecard that says this:
"Included, is -only- the mesh base of the Demeter Gown.
Be sure to wear the included Alpha Layer with the top for the best fitting results."
But, what you do NOT get is the "included alpha layer" and the dress demo is black so you can't judge the quality of the color. I kinda know what a basic mesh bodice looks like on my avatar, but I wanted to know what THIS one looked like. My avatar has an interesting skin tone that does not do well with certain colors. Is it possible to have a red demo, and alpha included so i can try this dress before I purchase it? Mark it up all you want and put boxes to hover on it making it truly a non-usable demo if you need to.. but I really need to see the dress before I shell out L$500
