This thing is futureproof!
I just got my CyberCore 2000 and I’ve never seen Minesweeper in such stunning 480x320 resolution! The AOL connection is blazingly fast at 56kbps — I’m convinced this machine could survive the apocalypse and download an entire MP3 in under an hour.
Installation of Netscape Navigator only took six hours (lightning speed for 2000 standards), and now I’m seriously considering upgrading to Windows ME — that’s how futureproof this beast is.
All jokes aside, the craftsmanship is amazing. It fits my RP setup perfectly — my players loved how authentic it looked when I used it to deliver a lore notecard.
Fantastic build, hilarious concept, and pure Y2K nostalgia done right. 10/10, would recommend to a friend still using dial-up.
