The Great Wall of China Chángchéng; literally "Long City/fortress" or literally "The long wall of 10,000 Li is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built, rebuilt, and maintained between the 6th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. Several walls, referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC. The most famous is the wall built between 220–200 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang; little of it remains; it was much farther north than the current wall, which was built during the Ming Dynasty.
The Great Wall stretches over approximately 6,400 km (4,000 miles) from Shanhaiguan in the east to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia, but stretches to over 6,700 km (4,160 miles) in total. At its peak, the Ming Wall was guarded by more than one million men.

This build needs to be updated and corrected
i Write this review with deep regret however it has to be done. This builder is a wonderful builder however this must have been one of her first projects that was never updated. The Great China Wall is a wonderful build but it has many flaws. To include pieces not squared, several textures are overlapping which causes lag and they can be seen plainly. It has at least three major textures on it that has been watermarked to prevent someone from stealing the texture as well (the walkway, the upper portion of the wall and the lower portion (rocks) in the wall build each can be seen on every piece. We have worked painstakingly to repair all the glitches on it for over two months and are still not finished. This is not a project for the normal builder to recreate. When I asked the maker if it was in a rez box she could not recall either or any other details. the build was made in like 2007-2008 time frame so it is indeed in need of updating. I hope you do as it would be glorious. we will continue to improve it here on our sim Garanagu. Plus side is the build is fully modifiable and copyable. Thank goodness. If u are the novice builder or sim creator I would not recommend it however if u like lots of practice repairing something you paid lots of lindens for then I recommend you go for it the build is good but many early building flaws of which I know the builder does much better work.
