All in one. Ordered and operated via an easy to use menu.
This is what you get:
Door bell script - You can put this in any prim you like. In this way you don't have to increase your prim count.
Door bell - 1 prim sculp containing all you need. Ready to use (You may want to change the greeting and the landmark). Can be resized.
Door bell with bracket - 4 prims total. Can be resized.
Door bell sound - You can substitute this sound with your own.
Note card with standard greeting - Make your own.
Landmark to HARDY RUBEN shop - Use your own in stead.

Here are the features you can turn on and off via the menu:
IM : IMs you when somebody gets into the range of the bell. (Via the menu you set the range from 5 m to 95 m - 11 options). You also get a link to the visitors profile.
Greeter: IMs the greeting (note card) to the visitor.
Pager: If a visitor touches the bell he is asked whether he wants to page you or not. If YES you get a link to the visitors profile in IM.
Landmark: If a visitor touches the bell he gets a landmark of your choice. He can discard it.
The bell uses display names - NOT user names. The visitor is greeted with the name he has chosen himself.
The bell doesn't react if the visitor is the owner.
HOW TO GET STARTED:
Rez the bell with or without bracket.
Right-click it and choose Edit.
In the Edit box click General.
Change the description field to the name of your place.
In the Edit box click Content.
Delete my Landmark and drag your own here.
Double-click the note card Greeting.
Change the greeting to your own. Remember to save.
Close the Edit window.
You are ready to go. Touch the bell and in the menu uncheck the features you don't want. and set the range.
