Dressing Room

Easily worth as much as L$50 this little tool can help you
avoid embarrassment in public places and help improve
your enjoyment of Second Life.

Since the original aim of this tool is to those homeless
Avatars, like me it is assumed that they are equally
nearly penny less. Thus I'm making a sacrifice by virtually
giving this away.

What it does and how to use it (Why you might want this item).

0. The very first time you use this item, wear it.
After a moment or so, it will indicate it is ready for use
and automatically detach from your avatar. You don't need to wear it again.

1. In your favorite sand box area, drag it from
your inventory to the ground in front of you.

2. Touch the little green ball (sit) on it.

You will be gently transported
up high above normal flight limits
and a beautiful sphere will be rezzed around you.

This sphere is large enough to contain a posing stand
and if needed your closest friend... More on this later :)

3. After you have completed your business again touch
the little green pose ball and you will be gently
and reliably transported back to your start.

You sand box hosts will appreciate your consideration
of remembering this last step because it causes this
little tool to clean up after it self, thus leaving
the sand box clutter free.

Please remember to pick up any other items inside
your dressing room before you leave.

That's all there is to it. I hope it makes your Second Life
more enjoyable and that you enjoy using this tool as much as
I enjoyed making it.

your experience better (and mine, I use it also).

Caveats: (things to consider)

* Most sand boxes clean up items on a timer basis.
Your dressing room will disappear if this happens. You
may embarrass others and your self when your dressing room
disappears (actually it is sent to your lost and found folder)
apparently leaving no trace. You can find out how often they
clean up by clicking the land name at the top of your screen,
select the objects tab, and look for the auto return value
(in minutes).

* Throw away any extra copies you find in your lost and found folder.
including the sphere that will show up if auto return gets you
while you are inside your room.

* Occasionally you may find the area where you are
transported occupied by another avatar or object. This
seldom happens but if does, try to sit on the sphere again
to clean up and go to another spot in the sand box.
