Drifting Thoughts Single Turret is a simple to use deterrent system for home use. It has an adjustable scanning range, access list, and optional hover text. Anyone not on the access list will be followed closely. This turret is non-firing, it will only follow the closest avatar within range. We do not make a firing version, please do not ask for one. To keep the server load down, the turret only scans every 5 seconds until an unauthorized avatar comes into range, then it scans constantly to track them.
The prims are modable, so you can retexture/resize/reshape to whatever you want, however be aware that they rotate the entire link around the primary prim, if you want to make a mount for the turret, do not link it, just move it into position.
Open the "Single Turret System v2 Settings" notecard in the turret (right click -> Edit -> More> -> Contents tab). Adjust the TargetDist to your liking (whole numbers in meters 5 - 96). NOTE: The turret only targets over owner land, and does not pay attention to walls, ceilings, etc. You may optionally have hover text showing current status. The access list is for people the turret will ignore, the owner is automatically added.
