The Drow Magic Wand is my second fully combat-enabled zCS weapon. It is visually distinguished from the Dark Practice Wand by its darker hue, and otherwise distinguished by having 3 spells rather than just one: Shadow Wave is a short-range damaging spell that rarely misses; Dark Missile is a long-range damaging spell, but its accuracy suffers a bit at greater distances; Repulsion is a short-range low-damage spell best suited for knocking an incoming target backwards several meters (hint: aim a bit ahead of and below your intended target. The effect can be rather...odd at point-blank range, though.)

All snapshots were taken in Second Life and cropped in GIMP Image Editor; I included two snapshots of the Dark Missile (one with contrast and brightness settings adjusted, and one in a different windlight) since it is rather difficult to see.

  • 3 spells: Shadow Wave, Dark Missile, and Repulsion
  • 20% damage for Shadow Wave and Dark Missile
  • 7-15% damage for Repulsion (plus knockback)
