Do you know where all of your roots and cobs are?
Here is a scanner to count and locate your sionCorn roots and cobs.
Instructions:
1) Rez the scanning in the middle of your corn field for best results. If you have to rez the scanner
outside your corn field put it on the longest side of the field. There are Second LIfe limits to the
scanning capacity. This scanner is designed to scan small slices to identify as many roots and
cobs as possible. If there are more than 16 cobs or 16 roots in a give "slice" then some will be
missed. The floating text above the scanner will tell you the current status of the scanner.
2) Click on the scanner to get the following menu:
Root Scan: Scans for roots. If 'makers' are turned on a cirlce will appear around each root. If 'temp' is on the circles will disappear 2 minutes after they are created. You can see the numer of roots in the floating text.
Cob Scan: Scans for cobs. If 'makers' are turned on a pointer will appear above each cob. If 'temp' is on the pointers will disappear 2 minutes after they are created. You can see the numer of cobs in the floating text.
Distance: Sets the distance to scan. This distance is the radius of a circle around the scanner.
Marker On | Off: Turns markers on or off. If 'On' then markers will appear around or over the roots and cobs when they are scanned. If the roots and/or cobs have already beens scanned then the markers will be displayed.
Temp On | Off: Determines whether the markers are temporary (they don't count agains your prim count) or persistent. If the markers are temporary they will disappear in 2 minutes.
Show Markers: If the roots and/or cobs have already been scanned then it will show the markers.
Clear Markers: This will remove all the markers.
Help: Will give you this help document.
