Eclectica Curiosities-Steampunk Office Set

This item is copy and mod friendly, (possibly excluding some scripts). It is original mesh, unique to Eclectica, made with love by Tiffy Vella, who adores old vintagey stuff , 3D modeling and texturing.

Please always edit a copy of your item. Keep a master version in your inventory. I will happily send you a new version if you bork one up, but only if you are very, very nice.* Also, there is now a redelivery kiosk in the mainstore foyer.

This is a themed office set that you can use to create a working steampunk office. Perfect for the home office, study, school, professional rooms, place of business... its up to you!

The pieces are copy and modify, but will appear no-mod when inspected due to some scripts being no-mod. You can still edit them and manually change the prim parameters.

The upholstery and leather desk inlay is scripted to texturechange, allowing you to choose from 4 options. Just touch any piece for a drop down menu. The textures (green, burgundy, navy and camel) match the upholstery from the Steampunk Reading Set from the Eclectica range, so you can incorporate these into the same room happily.

All scripts may be removed if needed (or just the texurechange ones), but please save a master version in your inventory if doing so. You will not want to lose them permanently from every version.

Some of the poses in the chairs are just sits, and some are poses which will rezz props, or attach props to you. These will most likely ask you permission to do this the first time. The permission box may be hidden behind other menus on the top right of your screen, so be careful to look for it if no prop appears.

I have scaled the items to suit an average-sized avatar. You can resize them to make them larger, but please know that the land impact may change as a result. If you need to make extreme size changes, the rezzed props may seem out of proportion. It is possible to edit each prop to your size and replace them in the contents of the furniture. If you do this, do not rename them. If this completely stumps you, IM me.

There are 4 items included in this set; the desk, the desk chair, a coalesced (unlinked) desk and chair, and a visitors chair.

-Eclectica Curiosities- Steampunk office desk-

This desk can be touched for texturechange options for the leather inlay, and chairs within range will change to match. The desk will spawn desk clutter that can remain in place while you are not using the furniture. These items are decor only, and are separate to the ones used when you are animated. Options are a vase (1LI), drinking water (1LI), scattered books (1LI), and a choice between the PC with phone (2LI), the writing props (1LI), and the reading with coffee props (1LI). Use the "CLEAR" button to remove all items from the desktop. I recommend that you do this before using the desk chair animations as it can cause some overlapping props. The water, vase, and scattered books do work beautifully with animation props however, so experiment.

-Eclectica Curiosities- Steampunk office desk chair-

This chair is for using by the person sitting at the desk, and it provides the animations and props needed to do so. It has a selection of simple sitting and chatting poses, plus poses for using the PC, reading, writing, etc. Like the desk, it has a touch-to-texturechange menu to control the upholstery texture. I have included an unlinked (coalesced) version of this chair with the desk, as the chair will spawn props onto the desk, meaning that you will need to pay attention to the distance between the two items. If you need to modify this, The positions can be edited and saved to the notecard in the chair contents. (The AVSitter system is used, so all sit and prop positions can be edited and saved.)

-Eclectica Curiosities- Steampunk office visitor chair-

This chair is for using by office visitors, and it provides the animations and props needed for this. It has a selection of simple sitting and chatting poses, plus poses for reading a newspaper. It has none of the desk-specific poses, so you can use it for interviewees at the desk, or in a waiting room, etc. Like the desk, it has a touch-to-texturechange menu to control the upholstery texture. If you need to modify the poses, the positions can be edited and saved to the notecard in the chair contents. (The AVSitter system is used, so all sit and prop positions can be edited and saved.)
