Elevator - Glass Exterior

This is an elevator that you can use with the frame supplied or as a stand alone item and make your own frame.

There is a 3 floor and 2 floor version included. If you want a custom build for more floors please contact me in world and I will be happy to assist.

Scripts are full perm so you could also use the script in your own elevator if you prefer.

It works in a pretty simple way. The distance between floors is set at Xm (6m by default but is configurable). The elevator assumes it is starting at floor 0 (ground floor). The elevator control (whether a call button or the controls in the elevator itself) call out the floor to go to. The elevator moves up or down to that floor. Therefore to move to floor 1 the elevator moves up 6m. To floor 2 it moves up a further 6m.

You can change the distance before floors and the channel used to communicate with the call buttons in the object description.

The item is full perms so you can edit it as required.

***Setup***
1 - Rez the Elevator frame first and put it in position (do not link it to anything yet)
2 - Touch the frame. You will get a menu asking to rez the elevator. this will rez the elevator in the correct position. The elevator must never be linked to anything else

You do not have to use the frame provided. You can rez the elevator capsule itself and it will assume it starts on floor 0 so position it accordingly.
