Love a cozy cabin atmosphere but need space? Take a look at the Elk Ridge. I've tried to incorporate that small cabin feel into the larger home people like.
The covered front porch leads up to a warmly textured wooden front door that opens into a large main room featuring a fireplace and high ceilings. The fire is touch on/off and also emits smoke from the chimney when lit.
A dining area is behind a half stone wall and beyond that is a kitchen with appliances and richly textured wood cabinets. Three sets of sliding doors lead out onto a back deck.
Upstairs is an open loft that overlooks the main room and the dormer windows at the front, and feature black metal cut-outs of nature scenes in the railing. Another set of sliding doors leads out onto a balcony and there are stairs that lead from it down to the lower deck.
If you want to save prims or use the kitchen space for something else, the entire kitchen is a separate linkset and can be deleted without affecting any other parts of the house. This is also true of the fireplace and decks. Please note that if you rerez the house after deleting any parts, they will be there again when the house is rezzed.
Don't let my low prices lead you to believe these are slapped together boxes. I search SL and RL for the best textures I can find and spend many hours making each home as nice as I can. Look around and I'm certain you won't find a better home for the money.
All of my homes are copy/mod/no trans so you are free to make any changes you like to them. Some of the scripts are no mod and this will cause it to say no mod, but anything besides the scripts can be changed. If there is something you may want changed and don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, I will do my best to help out and make it your own personal home.
