Elven Multi-Transporter Network
------------------------------------

The Multi-Transporter network is a very simple system to set up (just rez the terminals and name them), simple to use, and yet full of optional functions that make it ideal for roleplay, such as summoning or sending transporter beams to the ground as well as between teminals. The package also includes an Elven Clasp that can be given away to anyone, allowing them to beam from anywhere in a sim to a transporter terminal, and also to chat to each other in open chat sim-wide.

To use this system you need to be a landowner, or someone authorized to rez objects
on the land where the teleporters are to be used.

Two types of transporter terminal are supplied: a 6 prim upright gazebo, and a 2-prim TP disc.
Both have the same functionality.

All units are COPY perm, and all units have MOD perm (except for any scripts contained in them).
The Elven Clasp is COPY/MOD/TRANS and contains some alternative textures in its box.

The network operates sim wide and up to 4096 meters. So units can be installed on a sky platform
or similar.

QUICK START
-----------
1. Rez two of the Multi-Transporter 2-prim discs, preferably over 1m away from each other.

2. Touch the top surface of one of the discs, and a beam should appear.

3. 'Sit' on the beam to stand in it, and then touch it again. You should be transported
immediately to the other disc.

Easy as that!

4. Now rez a third disc, and repeat steps 1 to 3.
Give them different names in the "Description" box of the SL Editor Dialog (NOT the "Name" box).
Each TP terminal must have a unique description, else they will not show correctly in menus.
This time, since there are two possible destinations, you will be presented with a menu for
choosing which destination you require.

That is basically how it works, and you can leave it a simple as that, or use some of the other
options available, which allow you to transport in different ways, and to change the access settings.

!!! When placing a new disc or unit, rez it from your folder. Do not Duplicate it from the Edit menu, because this may cause problems with the script settings.

MENUS
----

There are two control menus: Access and Modes. One for permissions and one for TP behaviour.
! ! ! You enter these menus by touching the side surface (in the case of the Multi-Transporter Disc,
! ! ! or the top lid in the case of the upright Multi-Transporter Unit).
When touched by an authorized user, it whispers the current settings in chat.

Each terminal in the network can be set separately to different functions.

Modes Menu
----------
The Modes menu is available to the Owner, and to Group members if the unit is set to Group.
It sets the individual Transporter terminal mode settings,
and features the following options:

Base2Base This is the default. Works just like any normal teleport. Transports the user from any
authorized base terminal to any other authorized destination terminal, instantly.

2-Way Ride the beam to the ground directly below the Transporter terminal (from up to 4096m to ground).
The beam stays on the ground for up to a hour, waiting to be ridden back to its start position.
Anybody can use it to beam back up, so be cautious!

Sole User Same as 2-Way but only the person who beamed down can use the beam to beam back up.

1-Way Ride the beam to the ground directly below the Transporter terminal (from up to 4096m to ground).
Beam dissolves on reaching the ground. (see Elven Clasp for beaming back up).

Beam2xyz Ride the beam to specified xyz coordinates, typed when prompted as x,y,z - e.g. 123,765,22.

Send Beam Send a beam to the ground directly below the Transporter terminal for user pickup/beamup.

Send2xyz Send a beam to specified xyz coordinates for user pickup/beamup.
Typed when prompted as x,y,z - e.g. 123,765,22.
