This is the most advanced helicopter flight engine you can find in SL, combining realism and fun.
Scripted to enable both the novice and the expert to handle and enjoy.
If you are looking for a helicopter to have fun in, represent your business or explore SL with it's additionally added water landing floats...

List of Commands

s - start/stop the aircraft

l - toggles lights on or off

p - toggles hold current altitude

m - toggles Mouselook Steering On/Off

rd - open/close right door

ld - open/close left door

bd - open/close back doors

fs - FlySafe, makes the aircraft temporary and phantom (will fly over full parcels and through skyboxes)

copilot - switches flight controls to the copilot

pilot - switches flight controls back to the pilot

guest on - Unlocks the aircraft for everyone.

guest off - locks the aircraft only for the owner

group - toggles groupmode on/off

floats - add floats so it can land on water (only when engines off)

eject - ejects all passengers

CAMERA:

c - toggles dynamic camera on/off.

c1 - view from tail

c2 - view from inside the cabin

c3 - view from above

c4 - locks your cam into place.

FUEL:

fuel on - switches on the fuel system and the auxiliary tank is visible

fuel off - switches the fuel system off and the auxiliary tank disappears

refuel - will refuel your aircraft. (or tank at any station that sends the refuel command)

Flight Controls:

Page Up increases Collective, above 50% ascending
Page Down decreases Collective, below 50% decends
At 50% collective the helicopter has a automated passive altitude control prohibiting the helicopter to loose altitude during maneuvers.
Using the p in chat command or Hold Altitude or P on the HUD it will actively hold your altitude at the height activated.

Arrows left and right will make the aircraft turn at 0% cyclic or turn and bank when cyclic is above or below 0%.
Arrows shift left and right will make the aircraft strafe left and right at 0% cyclic or turn and bank when cyclic is above or below 0%.

Arrows Forward and Reverse will increase or decrease cyclic, making the aircraft fly faster forward or revers.

Mouselook Steering
Mouselook steering can be activated with the m command or on the HUD pressing Mouse Steer or M.
Deactivated you can fly in mouselook using the normal keyboard controls as described above.
When activated and when in mouselook the vehicle will try to turn such that it points in the same direction as your camera.
Arrows left and right will make the aircraft strafe, arrows forward and reverse will increase or decrease cyclic forward and reverse speed.
At 0% cyclic the aircraft will be steered without banking and above or below steering is coupled with banking.
When out of mouselook the aircraft can be controlled with your keyboard normally as explained above.

FlySafe
Including the new FlySafe mode from Spijkers & Wingtips Aviation.
FlySafe will be disabled when you switch on VICE or lower the landing gears.
When enabled by saying "fs" or clicking the FlySafe button on the HUD the plane and pilot will turn phantom and temporary.
Making the plane temporary enables flying through full parcels. Temporary prims do get counted on the parcels primcount, but do not get limited by the parcels prim limit. So if a parcel has a prim capacity of 400 prims, you can still have temporary prims exceeding this limit. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/PRIM_TEMP_ON_REZ
Being phantom allows you to fly through those skyboxes, so imagine plotting your flight waypoints and never having to worry about sudden skyboxes rezzing in front of you :-)

Fuel Consumption:
Max. idle 100 minutes (1 hour 40 min.)

5 - 10 m/s = 92 min.
10-15 m/s = 83 min.
15-20 m/s = 75 min.
20-25 m/s = 67 min.
25-30 m/s = 58 min.
30-35 m/s = 50 min.
35-40 m/s = 42 min.

Can be disabled with the command fuel off or using the buttons on the Multi-functional Flight Display.
This doesn't represent the real life deal, but again this is SL and we are trying to give you somewhat the experience and frills you would have as a real life pilot.

MFD (Multi-Functional Display) and Instrument HUD
A light HUD included with just one MFD that has the map and flight information

The HUD is transferable so you can hand it to your Flight Technician and Co-Pilot, or a friend you have guested the plane to use.

Seems OK But....

Gets constant HUD errors about missing doc and it seems very prone to crashes crossing sim's. Works great when its not kicking me off.

I dont normally leave reviews as one mans poison is another mans food, but after reading Afrodisiax comments I feel I have to put in my 2-cents worth. I have almost all of Tigs heli's now and a lot of others from different creators (in fact today I just purchased my 2nd EC135 for a friend to get her into choppers). Not sure what button Afrodisiax was pushing but wasn't the start button (probably it was the top on his Afrodisiax pill bottle) and as calling the fuel incorrect when it was showing 99% and not 100%..... the guy most be on something that comes out of a bottle.
This is not a high tech machine like the SA range of which I also have (and find it frustrating to fly and cost over 3 times more) but if you want an easy to control helicopter than you will not be wasting any L's on this.

This product does not work.

This is concerning the EC135 Helicopter in which I purchased..I tried to contact the seller before posting this. The start button for this version does not start this helicopter. The HUD will show a full tank of fuel at 99% fuel capacity, and still the start sequence will not operate helicopter.

The POWER button does not stay on after trying to START, it continues to go off after 2 seconds, making this device useless and incapable of flying. Do not waste your Lindens.

This is a great machine! Takes some getting use to when you have been a fixed wing flyer for so long but after you figure it out it's great!
