European dragon[BOX] - i monster

I chose this over DreamCrawler's and already regretting my choice. The movement speed is painfully slow along with the HUD being overwhelming, taking up most of the screen. The sounds and affects aren't all that special. The upside I suppose is that it does look good for a Bento. However, I don't even like the horns which is part of the reason why I didn't go for DreamCrawler's.

I gotten this avatar awhile ago and I must say I quite adore it. The skins and sets that come with it are amazing and I enjoy the sounds from the avatar quite a lot. You can customize it quite a bit off the get go and the glowing horns and other things can place on it is very nice. Over all great avatar, and if you ever want to customize it the European Dragon has many mods within the second life community which help add more fun content to this avatar.

But I guess I didn't! Mind you, this is going to be rather biased because this is my go-to dragon for any feral dragon. I love the shape, the design, and it was fairly easy to texture, all things considered. The wings are a pain though, and are lower res than the rest of the body (Or was it higher? I can't remember, it's been a hot minute) but if you can over look that, retexturing this dragon is a cinch. A few reviews are mentioning the Wyvern aspect but, as I have to mention like everyone else about it; it wasn't intended. This wasn't meant to be Wyvern. It was a community request that was easy enough for Tethys to do.

That said, the AO is just fine. I don't understand people's hate on this dragon for it's animations. They aren't stiff, they're very fluid. Perhaps it's the limited AO that people are upset over. I can understand wanting to buy an avatar and have everything right out of the box for it, but some avatars need some extra love and attention. The community around this avatar clearly shows that it's loved and has so many mods (myself included,) for it. Think of this avatar as a base (Albit not a cheap one, for sure,) and mod it to your hearts content.

My biggest issue with this av is the face expressions; not the animations themselves, but the script. It tends to stack-heap and crash, and I have to reset the AO. I had reported this to Tethis, but I never saw an update. (if I'm wrong, let me know, I'll adjust my review!) but really, that's my biggest issue.

This dragon has a lot going for it but also negative reviews are not 100%. What you get in this item is the base avi and it is very RAW it is not a very good plug and play dragon. It is like buying a Slink Body but in dragon terms.

You do need to put a lot of work into it and make the dragon you want, but honestly it is worth it. In my dragon group there are about 40 active dragons i see a week and none of us look even close to the same. It comes with nothing really but emotes are not hard to get for it i have about 480 at time of doing this. The custom with this dragon is just crazy.

For Rp sims its just a must. This dragons impact is very low if you set it up smart some human avis will impact more then you. Size it is good, people have a issue and yeah a little bigger and smaller choices are nice. BUT in a Rp sim you dont want or need to be too big it cant get into things and cant fight and all the other issues with it. Its not small however it is around 4-5 meters tall and something like 8m long its a Elephant size. It still towers over most other things and any massive boosts would be needless. It is 100% compatible with combat systems like UNITY so all the weapons and such wont derp you out. It has a lot of emotes and all that for a RP sim there is no other choice. People can cry about it but its just too good not to have set up if you are in a RP sim or want to join one.

If you just want a show dragon however like one that looks cool or if you just need to be over large for some reason than there are better dragons, for show dragons go with DreamClawers dragon it can look amazing if you put the effort in same with Seawolf both make very flashy and amazing dragons. For size the other 2 can get very big but i think [ DK ] Dawn Kingdoms is the largest if all you care about is size. DK is also a good Plug and play dragon if you are just looking for a generic dragon and don't want to fuss over looks and set up

I agree with the other person saying this is kind of a disapointment. I mean, it's not a BAD av but there are better for cheaper. Why is the wyvern even an option if it looks like it's going to fall over do to clearly being just a dragon with its front legs cut off? At this price I thought this would have a lot more animations too.

I kept seeing so many promising reviews and comments on this avatar and seeing all the different mods for it, it had to be good right? But no, It's not good. The only bonus of this avatar as of Jan 2nd 2020 is that many people have made mods for it. However, as a stand alone Dragon and Wyvern Avatar I do not recommend it at all.

- The AO is basic if not sloppy, it's even worse if you use the Wyvern body.
- Th Textures and Textures Customization that comes with it is very lacking.
- the Huds ar poorly thought out and look thrown together.
- The "Emotes" or things you thought would bring the avi to life, like in most animal avatars like the TWI Avatars for example, do nothing but move your facial expression.
- Little to no effort into making the wyvern form be a wyvern. The "Wyvern AO" looks unnatural and you can tell its just a dragon body that had the limbs taken off and patched over.

The community of creators who make things for this Avi is why it's afloat still.

If I could get my Linden back, I would.
