This is fairly basic, but easier then doing it yourself. What is it? It's a full body tattoo, that can be modified to change the color of the skin you are wearing. Simply add the tattoo, then edit, and modify the color. The skin you wear under will show through, allowing you to color a favorite detailed skin into something darker, or lighter, on even tint to an actual color. Great way to make skins for orc, drow, elves, demons, dragons, mer, aliens and other beings that might not have a normal skin tone.
Also great to adapting child avatar skins to a different skin tone for making the perfect ethnicity.
Suitable for male and female avatars.
Notecard with details on how to modify the tattoos included.
**Works best with pale tones darkening, than dark tones lightening. There is no shading or coloring in the tattoo, so -everything- is colored equally, including lips and eye make up. Consider adding make up tattoos after the skin tint to allow them to show better.**
UPDATED! Now including preset colors to assist in playing with colors and finding the perfect look. All tattoos are copy/mod/no trans so you can set one for each av that you need.

UPDATE - July 16th, 2016 - I've included Omega Tint appliers. If you have a body that uses omega AND allows tinting (note, at this time, Maitreya does not) then you can use these appliers to tint your skins at this level. All photos shown are system. Yes, there is detail loss. It's a tattoo. Not a skin.
Oct 2019 - Got a mesh that does Baked on Mesh? This is in system layers, and thus can be used!
- Unisex tattoos
- Premade colors
This item sucks!
It's way too hard to apply and when I had the colour I desired, all I got was white; I'd even set the RGB's to obtain red, do not buy until the creator fixes this issue.
I LOVE THIS
Thank you! I had a skin that I loved that had a strange shadow in the middle of her forehead and it made her look a bit concerned. This cleared it right up. I also like that you can make really any color of the rainbow. It can leave a bit of dullness, but part of that is the make up tattoos. They have to be re-applied over top of this one. Looks as good as new. Great price and no strange shadow..THANK YOU!!!
It's ok...
If you are on a tight budget this would be great for you, however it does leave a dullness to your skin.
FRUSTRATING!!!!
I read the reviews, looked at the tutorial on the blog, and still I took the chance and was disappointed. The concept is there, what I wanted. A layer I could tint to a specific color. However, I have a very deep tan skin tone on my mesh body and wanted to make my head match (because I love the skin I used for my system head). You can choose pitch BLACK and this thing will only get so dark. There is no way to make it darker. And certainly no way anyone could make a DROW with this! The black one is still just a greyish brown, and very light in comparison to my deep tropical tan. Such a shame.
Clever product :)
Quick & easy, cheap, and does the trick! Yes your skin features get washed out of course, but if you put on make-up over the tattoo tint that fixes the problem instantly. :) Great idea!
