- This is a richly featured interface for OpenAI's ChatGPT and other AI services built for SL. We went the extra mile with this one - a hundred and one ways to configure the chatbot, control ranging from broad to fine, but designed such that it can be used right out of the box with zero setup.
- Features
  - Remembers chat history
    - Every ChatGPT product on the SL Marketplace uses the OpenAI API, this one included. It has the fantastic upside of granting access to countless options and adjustable variables under the hood, but the unfortunate downside of not being capable of remembering chat history on its own. This interface handles that instead, and the chatbot will remember recent chat history as you speak with it, putting it above most offerings out there.
    - You can view the chat history, set limits on what gets remembered with filter keywords, or wipe it completely.
  - Choose an AI model
    - OpenAI has a large number of models available to speak with, each with its own utility and quirks, so we decided to include all of them.
    - Even finer adjustment can be made by using the array of parameters available to each model. These parameters affect how the AI responds, from how long or complex the response can be, to how random or imaginative it can be.
    - Everything can be configured via notecards AND dialog menu.
  - Custom Instructions
    - These are special messages that are sent alongside your regular chat messages back and forth with the AI that provide instructions on how to respond. These instructions govern how the AI behaves, thinks, acts, and speaks to you. At first glance this seems benign, but once you begin to get creative with it, you suddenly have the power to turn the AI into anything you want.
      - Need code help? Tell it to talk like it's a senior developer with 10 years of experience writing (insert language here).
      - Need ideas? Tell it that it is leading a brainstorming session on a topic.
      - Want it to tell you a scary story? Tell it that it is HG Wells and it's speaking through a 1930's radio broadcast.
      - Want some tips on digital security? Ask it to become a senior cybersecurity expert.
      - Want it to explain what on earth a Custodes Astartes is? Tell it that it is a veteran of Warhammer 40k lore, and it'll explain in detail.
      - Want it to become a character of your choosing? Just describe the character in the provided loading notecard and it will become that character.
    - Personas
      - Included are a set of prepared personas you can pick from out of the box, to see this kind of interaction in action. It's easy to create new ones, and even easier to swap between them as needed.
    - It is important to note that this is also an optional feature, and can be turned off for it to behave as a basic chatbot if that suits your needs.
  - Access controls
    - You can configure who is able to talk with the system, who can adjust basic settings, or who has full control over the system. The owner of the object automatically has full access no matter what.
    - Access modes
      - Public - Anyone can use it, though only basic settings are ever available to the public.
      - Group - Only group members can use it
      - Private - Causes it to ignore the previous two settings if they are enabled, and to ONLY allow you (the owner) to access it. Perfect for one-click access restriction if you need to adjust something.
  - Communication controls
    - You can set what channel it listens on, or use channel 0 to allow it to listen to local chat.
      - Pair this with the "Require Name In Prompt" feature to prevent spam, but allow chatters to talk to the AI by including its name in their message.
    - Choose what channel it replies on, or to respond in public local chat, or whether it responds to each chatter privately.
  - Advanced LSL system features
    - Uses an advanced linkset data implementation under the hood to handle the large volumes of data going in and out of the system, as well as the vast array of settings it is capable of keeping track of.
    - Provides a number of debug controls in case you wish to inspect, restart, or factory reset the system.

IMPORTANT: You will need an OpenAI account and a valid, active API key for this to function. Fortunately, these are very easy to get, and remarkably cheap in my experience. If you're unsure about how the cost pans out, I can say that after months and months of extensive testing, i've only used roughly $2 of the $10 I put on the API key I created back in June 2023.
