In addition to primary textures (diffuse) this set includes Materials Texture Files (normals and specular). Materials Application in Second Life allows you to apply normal and specular maps to your creations for a more realistic immersive 3d experience.

To view and use Materials maps you must do so on a materials enabled viewer. I recommend the Firestorm Viewer or official Second Life Viewer. You must also have an adequate video card and have your graphic preferences set to “high” or “ultra”.
