With production starting in 1955 and stopping in 1996, the Colt Python (some times referred to as the Combat Magnum,) was one of the most popular .357 Magnum revolvers ever produced. Being purchased by many police departments for patrolman use in the United States, the weapon was also popular among civilians for defense, sports shooting, 'plinking,' and occasionally hunting. The weapon is known for it's accuracy, and smooth handling however is also known for degrading quickly with continuous use; (ie: the cylinder with heavy use will have troubles fully rotating to a fresh round, etc.) With the changing face of small arms design, (particularly more accurate and reliable automatics,) many police departments began replacing service revolvers such as the Colt Python and this has been cited as part of Colt's reasoning for discontinuing this model. As time progressed from first production models to the more modern, the Python had become a sought-after collectors item and thus prices skyrocketed; making it fairly rare among civilian ownership. The weapon was most notably used by Georgia State Police Department, the Florida Highway Patrol, as well as the Colorado State Patrol.

Melee: press a and d or left and right
*Note: this must be done very quickly, both keys pressed at the same time, effective range for melee is approximately 3 meters.

Firing: To fire the gun, simply enter mouse view mode and left mouse click. Holding down in automatic will fire until the left mouse button is released, semi automatic will fire once per mouse click.
